Ingredients
- 1 cup roasted chana dal
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup roasted makhana
- 1/2 cup roasted chana
- 1/2 cup sev
- 1/2 cup fried curry leaves
- 1 tablespoon chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon black salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except oil for frying.
- Mix well to ensure all the ingredients are evenly coated with the spices.
- Heat oil in a deep pan or kadhai for frying.
- Once the oil is hot, add a small portion of the mixture and fry until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fried mixture from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Repeat the frying process with the remaining mixture.
- Allow the fried mixture to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
- Serve the chanachur delight as a snack or enjoy with tea or coffee.
