Ingredients

  • 1 cup roasted chana dal
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup roasted makhana
  • 1/2 cup roasted chana
  • 1/2 cup sev
  • 1/2 cup fried curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon black salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except oil for frying.
  • Mix well to ensure all the ingredients are evenly coated with the spices.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan or kadhai for frying.
  • Once the oil is hot, add a small portion of the mixture and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the fried mixture from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • Repeat the frying process with the remaining mixture.
  • Allow the fried mixture to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
  • Serve the chanachur delight as a snack or enjoy with tea or coffee.
