Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh white fish fillets, such as snapper or halibut, skinned, deboned, and diced
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In a glass bowl, combine lime juice and lemon juice.

    Add fish to the citrus mixture, ensuring it is submerged.

    Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until the fish becomes opaque.
