Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for another minute.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  • Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add cauliflower florets and coat them with the spice mixture.
  • Cover the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender.
  • Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
  • Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
