Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Steam the chopped cauliflower until tender, about 10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and continue to cook until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the steamed cauliflower to the cheese sauce and stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
