- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish

Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
