Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
  • Continue cooking, without stirring, until mixture reaches 300°F on a candy thermometer.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and peanut butter.
  • Add crispy rice cereal and stir until well coated.
  • Press mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  • Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  • Pour melted chocolate over cereal mixture and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle with sprinkles and let cool until chocolate hardens.
  • Cut into squares and serve.
