Ingredients
- 1 pound caleoni pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook the caleoni pasta according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Simmer the sauce for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
