Ingredients
- 1 calabaza squash
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut the calabaza squash in half and remove the seeds.
- Place the squash halves in a baking dish, cut side up.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Fill each squash half with the sugar mixture.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the squash is tender.
