Ingredients
- 1 can of banana blossom
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of non-dairy milk
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup of chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup of diced red onion
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the banana blossom.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the non-dairy milk to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Dip the banana blossom in the batter, then coat in breadcrumbs.
