Bacon Bliss Burger

About this recipe

Experience a bacon lover’s delight with our modern take on the classic burger. This juicy bacon bliss burger combines savory beef, crisp bacon, and melted cheddar atop a perfectly toasted bun. Each bite promises a burst of flavor, elevated by the subtle tang of pickles and the umami of Worcestershire sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 brioche hamburger buns

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.

  2. 2

Arrange the bacon slices in a single layer and bake in the oven for 19-20 minutes until crispy.

  3. 3

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cheddar cheese, onion, pickles, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.

  4. 4

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

  5. 5

Lightly toast the brioche buns in the oven or a clean skillet for 1-2 minutes.

  6. 6

Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, topping with 2 slices of oven-crisp bacon, and any additional desired toppings.

  7. 7

    Serve immediately and enjoy!

Chef's tip

For a gourmet touch, consider adding a homemade special sauce made from mayonnaise, ketchup, and relish. Oven-cooking the bacon ensures even crispiness and easy cleanup.
