Ingredients

  • 1 block (350g) tofu, firm
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

    Press and cube the tofu.

    Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

    Brown tofu cubes on all sides and set aside.

    Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until onions are translucent.

    Add bell peppers and cook until softened.

    Mix soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Add to pan.

    Simmer until sauce thickens.

    Return tofu to pan and coat with sauce. Serve warm.
