Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Whole grain burger buns
- Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, avocado, etc.)
Instructions
- 1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
- 2. Add the cooked quinoa, chopped bell pepper, onion, parsley, almond flour, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
- 3. Form the mixture into burger patties.
- 4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- 5. Serve the patties on whole grain buns with your favorite toppings.
