Ingredients

  • 1 block of extra-firm tofu
  • 1 cup of plant-based milk
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut into chick'n-sized pieces.
  • In a shallow dish, mix together the plant-based milk and spices.
  • Dredge each piece of tofu in the flour, then dip into the milk mixture, and coat again in flour.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the chick'n pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
