Ingredients
- 1 whole turkey
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of dried sage
- 1 teaspoon of dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Rinse the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, sage, and parsley.
- Rub the olive oil all over the turkey, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the turkey.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth into the pan.
- Cover the turkey with foil and roast for 2 hours.
- Remove the foil and continue roasting for another 1-2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let the turkey rest for 15 minutes before carving.
