Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon of dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon of dried parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Rinse the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, sage, and parsley.
  • Rub the olive oil all over the turkey, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the turkey.
  • Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth into the pan.
  • Cover the turkey with foil and roast for 2 hours.
  • Remove the foil and continue roasting for another 1-2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Let the turkey rest for 15 minutes before carving.
