- 4 large sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Wash and peel sweet potatoes. Cut into small cubes and place in a large pot of boiling water. Cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain sweet potatoes and return to pot. Add brown sugar, butter, milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mash until smooth.
- Stir in chopped pecans.
- Transfer sweet potato mixture to a baking dish. Top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until marshmallows are golden brown and sweet potato mixture is heated through.
