Ingredients

  • 12 pieces of soya chaap
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large tomato, blended
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened plant-based yogurt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Directions

    Boil soya chaap for 5-7 minutes, then drain.

    Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

    Sauté chopped onion and green chilli until golden brown.

    Blend tomato with garlic and ginger into a paste and add to the pan.

    Mix in spices: coriander, garam masala, red chilli, turmeric, and salt.

    Add boiled soya chaap and coat well with the masala.

    Stir in the plant-based yogurt and mix thoroughly.

    Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes.
