Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of bacon
- Lettuce
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
- Pickles
- Ketchup
- Mustard
Instructions
- Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into balls.
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Place a ball of ground beef onto the skillet and use a spatula to smash it down into a thin patty.
- Season the patty with salt and pepper.
- Cook the patty for about 2-3 minutes, until the bottom is crispy and browned.
- Flip the patty and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the other side is crispy and browned.
- Place a slice of cheese on top of the patty and allow it to melt.
- Remove the patty from the skillet and repeat the process with the remaining portions of ground beef.
- While the patties are cooking, cook the bacon in a separate skillet until crispy.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the skillet or grill.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom bun, followed by bacon, lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
- Place the top bun on the burger and serve immediately.
