Ingredients
- 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 stalks of celery, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of dried sage
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 cups of chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion, celery, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Add the shredded rotisserie chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread, dried sage, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the chicken broth over the bread mixture and stir until well combined.
- Add the cooked chicken and vegetable mixture to the bowl and mix until everything is evenly distributed.
- Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
