Ingredients

  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 loaf of bread, cubed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 stalks of celery, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 cups of chicken broth

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion, celery, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
  • Add the shredded rotisserie chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread, dried sage, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the bread mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Add the cooked chicken and vegetable mixture to the bowl and mix until everything is evenly distributed.
  • Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
