Ingredients
- 8 cups beef broth
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef
- 1 package rice noodles
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- Fresh herbs (cilantro, Thai basil, mint)
- Bean sprouts
- Sriracha sauce
- Hoison sauce
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring beef broth to a simmer.
- Add onion, garlic, and ginger to the broth. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar to the broth. Stir well.
- Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Thinly slice beef and divide among serving bowls.
- Pour hot broth over the beef in each bowl.
- Serve with rice noodles, lime wedges, fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and sauces on the side.
