Ingredients
- 6 cups rice cereal
- 10 oz marshmallows
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in the rice cereal and crushed candy canes.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the rice treats and spread evenly.
- In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted.
- Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the white chocolate layer.
- Sprinkle with additional crushed candy canes, if desired.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
