Spicy Pasta with Steak and Hot Sauce

About this recipe

This modern twist on a classic dish brings together the tender juiciness of steak with the fiery kick of hot sauce, all tossed with perfectly cooked pasta. Whether for a special dinner or a weeknight meal, this dish offers a burst of flavors that’s both exciting and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz steak
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. 1

Boil salted water for the pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve some pasta water, drain, and set aside.

  2. 2

Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet for 3-4 minutes per side until desired doneness. Rest and slice against the grain.

  3. 3

In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper until soft.

  4. 4

Add hot sauce and cherry tomatoes, simmering until tomatoes soften slightly.

  5. 5

Toss in the cooked pasta, adding reserved pasta water if needed.

  6. 6

Top with sliced steak and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  7. 7

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Chef's tip

Ensure the steak rests to retain juiciness; adjust hot sauce according to spice preference.
