Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
- 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon
- 1/4 cup cooked shrimp
- 1/4 cup chopped cooked octopus
- 1/4 cup tenkasu (tempura bits)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup okonomiyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup aonori (dried seaweed flakes)
- 1/4 cup katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together water and egg.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in cabbage, scallions, bacon, shrimp, octopus, tempura bits, and Parmesan cheese.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add batter to skillet and spread into a circle.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drizzle with mayonnaise and okonomiyaki sauce.
- Sprinkle with aonori and katsuobushi.
- Serve hot.
