Ingredients

  • 1 bag of tortilla chips
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar or a Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup of cooked ground beef or shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • 1/4 cup of sliced jalapenos
  • 1/4 cup of sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup of sour cream
  • 1/4 cup of guacamole
  • 1/4 cup of salsa

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread a layer of tortilla chips on a baking sheet or oven-safe dish.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over the chips.
  • Add a layer of cooked ground beef or shredded chicken on top of the cheese.
  • Sprinkle the diced tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, and black olives over the meat.
  • Add another layer of tortilla chips on top of the toppings.
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the second layer of chips.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
