Ingredients
- 1 large fish, cleaned and scaled
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon of coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon of ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
- 1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the rice, onion, garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, cardamom, ginger, cayenne pepper, parsley, and cilantro.
- Stuff the fish with the rice mixture and place it in a baking dish.
- Arrange the lemon slices on top of the fish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the rice is tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and cilantro if desired.
