Ingredients
- 1 lb lamb, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the lamb and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add the cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the lid and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the lamb is tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
