Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add pork chops and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned.
- Remove pork chops from skillet and set aside.
- Add butter to the skillet and melt.
- Add mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme and stir to combine.
- Add heavy cream and chicken broth and stir to combine.
- Bring mixture to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, until sauce has thickened.
- Return pork chops to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until pork chops are cooked through.
