Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 low-carb sub rolls
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Form mixture into 12 meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While meatballs are cooking, heat marinara sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- When meatballs are done, remove from oven and place 3 meatballs on each sub roll.
- Top each sub with 1/4 cup of marinara sauce and 1 slice of provolone cheese.
- Place subs on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
