Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Transfer mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the beef mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Top with dollops of sour cream and chopped fresh parsley before serving.
