Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the ghee over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the onion, garlic, and ginger to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add the garam masala, turmeric, paprika, and cayenne pepper to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the tomato sauce and heavy cream to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
