Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thin
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish

Directions

    In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, garlic, and ginger.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    Add the beef strips and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.

    In the same skillet, add remaining sesame oil, then add broccoli, cooking for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.

    Return beef to the pan, along with the sauce, and stir to combine.
