Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 lb ground lamb
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, ground lamb, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
  • Divide meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  • Grill patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
  • During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and allow to melt.
  • Assemble burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun, followed by 2 slices of bacon, a few slices of tomato, and some sliced red onion.
  • Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
