Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 lb ground lamb
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bacon, cooked
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, ground lamb, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
- Divide meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
- Grill patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and allow to melt.
- Assemble burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun, followed by 2 slices of bacon, a few slices of tomato, and some sliced red onion.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
