Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 large potatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
- 3. Chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
- 4. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- 5. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
- 6. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried oregano.
- 7. Push the onion and garlic to one side of the skillet and add the seasoned chicken breasts.
- 8. Cook the chicken breasts until browned on both sides.
- 9. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish and arrange the sliced potatoes around them.
- 10. Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried oregano.
- 11. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes are tender.
- 12. Remove the foil and broil for an additional 5 minutes to crisp up the potatoes.
