Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • 2. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  • 3. Chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
  • 4. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • 5. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  • 6. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried oregano.
  • 7. Push the onion and garlic to one side of the skillet and add the seasoned chicken breasts.
  • 8. Cook the chicken breasts until browned on both sides.
  • 9. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish and arrange the sliced potatoes around them.
  • 10. Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried oregano.
  • 11. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes are tender.
  • 12. Remove the foil and broil for an additional 5 minutes to crisp up the potatoes.
