- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dredge chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water.
- Remove the skillet from the oven and transfer the chicken to a serving platter.
- Place the skillet back on the stove over medium heat.
- Whisk the cornstarch mixture into the sauce in the skillet and cook until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
