  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Dredge chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water.
  • Remove the skillet from the oven and transfer the chicken to a serving platter.
  • Place the skillet back on the stove over medium heat.
