Ingredients

  • 2 Scotch steaks
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 anchovy fillets, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to high heat.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced anchovy fillets, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Rub the steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • While the steaks are resting, preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve the grilled steaks with a dollop of anchovy butter on top and a side of quick fries.
  • Enjoy!
