Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh thyme
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh rosemary
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh sage
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh marjoram
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh tarragon
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Add the ground lamb to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Stir in the cumin, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the spices are fragrant.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, chopped fresh herbs, and the cooked lamb mixture.
- Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
- Form the mixture into small patties or meatballs.
- Heat some oil in a separate skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties or meatballs in the skillet until browned on all sides and cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
