Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, and other toppings of your choice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, cocoa powder, breadcrumbs, grated dark chocolate, onions, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt slightly.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and any other toppings of your choice. Place the top half of the bun on top.
- Serve the chocolate chicken burgers immediately and enjoy!
