- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Using a sharp knife, cut a pocket into the thickest part of each chicken breast.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the spinach and cheese mixture, using toothpicks to secure the opening.
- Season the outside of the chicken breasts with additional salt and pepper, if desired.
- Place the stuffed chicken breasts in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the toothpicks and serve hot.
