Ingredients

  • 2 bull testicles
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrot
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1. Remove the outer membrane from the bull testicles and slice into thin rounds.
  • 2. Dredge the slices in flour and set aside.
  • 3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • 4. Add the onion, celery, and carrot and sautee until tender.
  • 5. Add the bull testicle slices and cook until browned on both sides.
  • 6. Add the beef broth and red wine and bring to a simmer.
