Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 8 oz chow mein noodles
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over high heat.
- Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked beef back to the skillet and stir in the bean sprouts.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the beef and vegetables. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
