Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz chow mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over high heat.
  • Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Add the cooked beef back to the skillet and stir in the bean sprouts.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the beef and vegetables. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
