Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup grated zucchini
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated zucchini, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, parsley, basil, oregano, minced garlic, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to the saucepan with the marinara sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the meatballs with additional marinara sauce, if desired.
