- 500g hand-pulled noodles
- 300g beef or lamb, thinly sliced
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
- 2. Add the sliced onions and cook until they are soft and translucent.
- 3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- 4. Add the sliced beef or lamb and cook until it is browned and cooked through.
- 5. Add the sliced bell peppers and julienned carrots to the pan and cook until they are slightly softened.
- 6. In a separate pot, cook the hand-pulled noodles according to the package instructions.
- 7. Drain the noodles and add them to the pan with the vegetables and meat.
- 8. Add the soy sauce, vinegar, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the pan and stir well to combine.
- 9. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until everything is heated through and well combined.
- 10. Serve the Uzbek fried lagman hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
