Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water

Directions

  1. 1

Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, salt, and garlic in a bowl to create the marinade.

  2. 2

Add turkey cubes to the marinade, ensuring they're well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  4. 4

Thread marinated turkey cubes, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers.

  5. 5

Grill kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until turkey is cooked through.

  6. 6

Remove from grill, let rest for a few minutes, and serve hot.

Chef's tip

Ensure wooden skewers are soaked to prevent burning during grilling.
