Ingredients

  • 10 fresh toenails
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Clean and trim the toenails, removing any dirt or debris.
  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic and sauté until softened.
  • Add the carrots and celery and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the chicken broth, toenails, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.

  • Remove the bay leaf and discard.
