Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped jalapeno peppers
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 1 avocado
- 1 lime
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, chopped jalapeno peppers, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the guacamole wedges. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and place it in a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth. Squeeze in the juice of 1 lime and mix well.
- Add the chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Stir until well combined.
- Cut the burger buns in half and toast them on the grill for a few minutes.
- Serve the burgers on the toasted buns with a generous dollop of guacamole on top. Enjoy!
