Ingredients
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/4 cup of plain yogurt
- Cheese cloth
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat the milk in a saucepan until it reaches 180°F, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
- Remove from heat and let it cool to 110°F.
- Stir in the yogurt and mix well.
- Cover the saucepan with a lid and let it sit at room temperature for 12-24 hours, until thickened.
- Line a colander with cheese cloth and pour the mixture into it.
- Let it drain for 6-8 hours, then sprinkle with salt to taste.
- Transfer the cheese to a container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
