Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh polar bear liver
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped carrot
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Clean and slice polar bear liver into thin pieces.
- Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Dredge liver in flour mixture.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add liver and cook until browned on both sides.
- Remove liver from skillet and set aside.
- Add onion, celery, and carrot to skillet and cook until tender.
- Add chicken broth and heavy cream to skillet and stir to combine.
- Return liver to skillet and spoon sauce over liver.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
