Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons Penang curry paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the Penang curry paste, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and minced garlic. Mix well.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for maximum flavor.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the sliced bell pepper and onion. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly softened.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan and toss with the vegetables. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve the Penang curry grilled beef over steamed rice or noodles. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Enjoy!
