Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Bake on parchment-lined sheet for 25-30 minutes until golden.

  8. 8

    Serve piping hot.

Chef's tip

For added heat, consider including finely chopped scotch bonnet peppers in the filling, but adjust according to your spice tolerance.
