Ingredients
- 2 lbs cow meat, cut into cubes
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat oil and sauté onions until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
- Add turmeric, coriander, cumin, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates from the masala.
- Add cow meat and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add water as needed and simmer until meat is tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
