Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- 1. Wash and peel the potatoes.
- 2. Slice the potatoes thinly using a mandoline or a sharp knife.
- 3. Place the sliced potatoes in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- 4. Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- 5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- 6. Fry the potato slices in small batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
